# Codexery Data API

> api.codexery.com is the structured-data API behind the Codexery network (https://codexery.com/): JSON for every site, category and entry across several thousand reference codexes, plus the Sacred Atlas compilation dataset. Catalogue routes are free; data routes are paid per request in USDC on Base through the x402 protocol (no account, no API key: an x402-capable client pays inline).

- The same entry data is also published free on the website at https://codexery.com/<codex>/data/content/<category>.json under CC BY-SA 4.0; the API adds search, per-entity routes and the licence-checked Sacred Atlas dataset.
